Today we're going to discuss a wonderful topic - "Vazhgavalamudan"!
Let's begin.
We all know that blessings radiate positive vibrations to the person for whom the blessings are intended! But do you all know that, when we bless someone, not only is there a positive effect for the person whom we bless but also to the one who wishes it!!!
Sounds interesting!!??
Of course, it is. And it's true.
Take, for instance that you are angry with someone. If you keenly notice your own body's reaction, you can observe how fast your breath is due to anger or due to the fact that you are trying to control it. You become tense and the hostility may even cause reddening of your eyes. Also, when we think negatively, we can feel its corresponding vibrations.
In the same manner, when you feel peace within yourself, you realise the tranquility which makes you feel capable to shower your love on anyone! Also, whenever you think positive, you can feel the positive energy within you. Hence, everything first affects (positively/negatively) us and then it spreads the chain of effects to others.
We all believe that blessing everyone has positive effects, without taking into account the state of mind of the person who is blessing! But the effects of blessing depend on the state of the person's mind who blesses another (sender) and also the receiver. That is, the blessing take effect only when it comes from the bottom of the heart. It gives peace and serenity to the mind of the sender, and as the blessing comes from this kind of a pure state, it spreads the positive vibration to the receiver also.
Along with the blessing when we use the word "VAZHGAVALAMUDAN", it gives additional power to the blessing that they will have a blessed life along with prosperity. Yes! The Tamizh word "vazhgavalamudan" means be blessed with a prosperous life (it combines the root words vazhga - to live, and valam - prosperity). One can also, use this word alone to bless anyone and can also be used for self-blessing.
The word "vazhgavalamudan" works on the following principles:
1. Reflection.
2. Refraction
3. Penetrating through each other
4. Transformation between each other.
When we use this word from the heart, it gives a lot of powerful effects to the person's life for whom the blessing is intended (receiver) and also the one who uses this word often (sender).
When we inculcate this word in our life instead of saying thank you, or in lieu of greeting such as hello, hi, bye, we can see many positive changes in our life personally and also with people whom we use this word with!!
Stunning!? Yeah! When we use this word often in our lives, we can see a gradual eradication of anger and enmity. You can also take a deep dive on it and try it for a day and feel the effects that I've mentioned here!

This word can change anyone positively. This can bring about improvements in removing any negative traits that a person has and also to replace it with beautiful improvements to one's personality.
This word brings harmony in relationships, can bring mutual understanding between the sender and receiver, and make them do caring things for each other without them overtly intimating anything about it.
So we can use this word to bless anyone such as family members, neighbours, relatives, colleagues, boss, etc.
As we all are inter-dependent on each other in this world, it is good to practice this word with everyone, even with the persons who hurt us. Because the people who hurt us are believed to be given by the universe by the way of karma to purify us from our sins.
