THURIYAM (CROWN CHAKRA) MEDITATION AND ITS BENEFITS

In the previous articles, we have discussed a few yoga topics that include: the Agna (Third eye) chakra, the santhi/Root chakra, Simplified Kundalini Yoga, Benefits of doing exercises and meditations (manavalakalai), and instructions for Yoga exercises and Yoga meditations

Today we're going to discuss the next chakra named 'the Crown charka'. It is also called as Thuriyam or Sahasrara.

Let's begin:


THURIYAM (CROWN CHAKRA, SAHASRARA):

 GATEWAY TO DIVINE:

This chakra is located in the head(crown chakra =Sahasrara). Out of the thousands of cells that our brain has, only few are active during our life time.



When this chakra is activated (by meditating regularly), all the cells will be activated gradually. This chakra is the gateway to the divine.

ACTIVATION:

To activate this region, the yoga expert flows his/her energy (power of meditation) through his eyes to the aspirants and places his/her hand on the aspirant's head. When this meditation is practised regularly, all the cells of the brain get activated gradually. This helps one to be connected with the divine (one's higher self ) at all times. 

BALANCING/ DETOXING ONESELF AND OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHERS:

This meditation helps one to register good things into the subconscious mind easily . Also, we can communicate to anyone through this meditation, when direct contact is not possible.

When you wholeheartedly try to communicate to someone during this meditation, it will make the receiver get it through the frequency of your mind (thoughts/feelings) and clarify their thoughts about things going on in the subconscious level.



This can bring peace in the relationship between people, i.e., there will be forgiveness, understanding, peace, love, care, etc... 


When we bless anyone from this chakra, it reaches them directly.

MEMORY POWER:

While writing an examination, if one activates this chakra, it is possible to give his/her best in the exam paper correctly without missing anything/memory loss.



SELF DEVELOPMENT:

You can also see developments within yourself when compared to how you were before, when you try to practice this  beautiful meditation regularly.

So, regular meditation can bring positive changes in one's life inwardly and outwardly.
