On Christmas day, for a little fun, I would like to share one of my short stories (published in Weaver Magazine) with you here.
Here is the story :
Mary was a 24-year-old girl whose parents had died in a car accident at the age of 10. Since then, she had been taken care of by her Grandma, Carla. Mary had finished college and was applying for jobs to start her career soon.
Clara was old and had become ill. Day by day, her Grandma’s health became worse. So Mary started to take care of her Grandma as much as she could. But after a year, Carla died.
Everyone was crying about Mary’s grandma, Carla’s death. But Mary did not cry. Why?
